Josh Todd - Executive Director Development and Community Relations
Please join us in welcoming Josh Todd to EAA.  
 
Josh brings a wealth of local and regional sports leadership experiences including,
corporate sponsorships, strategic planning, project management, event planning,
vendor management, regional tournaments, and financial/budget acumen, that will help
lead and grow community outreach.

In this role, Josh will be directing the organization’s strategic priorities for the EAA
Sports Complex, including phase 2 of the Give Like a Champion capital campaign. He
will also be focused on brand allegiance and awareness with families, sponsors and
community, oversee the development of content, collateral, and campaigns; and
supervise/approve efforts to inspire interest, passion and loyalty in EAA programs. He
will also serve as a liaison with local community groups including event coordination and
community relations (e.g. Werner Night at the Ballpark, local parades, community
outreach events, food drives, fundraisers, school partnerships, coaching clinics,
camps/clinics/skills events). 

Josh is the former Executive Director at the Omaha Sports Commission (2018-2022)
and more recently lead corporate and community partnerships with Union Omaha,
Nebraska’s only independent professional sports team. (2022-2023).   Currently, on the
boards of Special Olympics NE and Rotary Club of Omaha he looks forward to
continuing to be connected to his community. 

Prior to moving to Omaha, Josh was Director of Sports for Visit Mesa (city of Mesa, AZ)
and has worked for brands like Connect Sports and Disney’s ESPN Wide World of
Sports. An Arizona native and avid sports fan (AZ: Cardinals, Suns, Diamondbacks,
UofA). He was a HS football coach in a prior life and earned a BS from the Fort Hays
State University where he was a student-athlete and served as captain on the football
team. He also has a Masters in Sport Management from Wichita State University. 
In addition to his professional experiences, Josh Todd and his family (Mandy, a teacher,
two daughters: Rhyan (11) and Josie (8), and dog: Kody) relocated to Omaha in early
2018 and have called Elkhorn their HOME since.
We believe Josh’s various sports and professional experiences, along with his
leadership will provide valuable contributions to EAA, our players, parents, and coaches
in the coming years.

EAA is a non-profit youth sports organization dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable,
positive learning environment. We serve families with children of all ages and all skill
levels from the community and across the region.
