Miracle League Launch

The launch of the Two Rivers Miracle League at First Interstate SportsPlex is happening this summer! We’re excited to put the Boys Town Pediatrics Adaptive Sports Field to good use.
The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with intellectual and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime.

Nebraska Force Novice – OPEN NOW
Our half season program that begins in September for athletes born between 2009-2020. Their season ends in April. These girls learn a dynamic routine to perform while learning to love competition cheer. This team is great for first year cheerleaders that want to try cheerleading before committing to a full year squad. These members practice once a week for 90 minutes. These teams will perform in the Novice divisions and their routine will be 1:30 long. Their performances will be evaluated not ranked. They will perform in 3-4 competitions starting in January. Future Sideline Cheer - OPEN NOW
Recreational Cheer is designed for athletes from Kindergarten through 8th grade, providing a fun and supportive environment to learn and grow. Squad rosters are generally formed with athletes from the same Elkhorn School District schools, but everyone is welcome! During registration, you can make squad, coach, and buddy requests. Tumbling Classes - 2 MONTH SESSIONS Register Here
Tiny Tumbling – Saturdays 9-10 am
Designed for athletes ages 4-6 who are just starting their tumbling journey! This fun and energetic class introduces basic skills like forward rolls, bridges, and basic flexibility exercises in a safe and supportive environment. It’s all about building coordination, strength, and confidence while having a blast!
Tumbling Level 1 – Saturdays 10-11 am
Perfect for beginners or athletes who are looking to refine their foundational tumbling skills. In this class, we focus on mastering basic skills like forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and proper body alignment. Athletes will build strength, flexibility, and confidence as they work through essential tumbling techniques.
Tumbling Level 1.5 Saturdays 11 am-12 pm
An intermediate class for athletes who have a solid grasp of basic tumbling and are ready to move forward. In this class, we’ll focus on developing skills like round-offs, front walkovers, back walkover, and diving into more complex progressions. It’s designed to challenge athletes to improve both their technique and strength while working toward more advanced skills.
Tumbling Level 2 Saturdays 12-1 pm
For athletes who are ready to take their tumbling to the next level. This class will focus on more advanced skills like back handsprings, and front handsprings. Athletes will continue to build strength, flexibility, and technique, while refining their existing skills and learning new tricks. This class is perfect for those looking to take their tumbling abilities to greater heights!

Phase Two of FIB
With Phase One now open of our ambitious project, EAA turns our attention to Phase Two Fundraising and Development. The State of Nebraska and Douglas County believe in us! We have shown so much progress that we were able to kick off Phase Two funding with a Shovel Ready grant from the state of Nebraska this month as well as a Visitor Improvement Fund grant from Douglas County. Moving forward with any new registrations, families will have the choice of paying by credit card OR by paying via eCheck (ACH). The benefit of an ACH payment is lower fees, so we encourage that payment choice whenever possible!

In an effort to empower and mentor its high school athletes, the Elkhorn Athletic Association (EAA) has recently collaborated with SheMate, a Nebraska-based digital mentoring company with a community of college, professional, Olympic, and Paralympic women athletes. EAA acknowledges the undeniable connection between physical and mental health in the holistic well-being of young women.
